There are a lot of details I had to cut to make this fit.

Clients!

Haven't had the best of luck this year with my vehicle, but the team here has made the experiences as smooth as possible. Everyone is extremely polite and gives as much detail as you need. I'll definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

{March 2016} I had my 2013Accord brought here.My car was there for about 4 weeks and I got a call that the car was going to be ready on a Friday at 3.I get there after 5and I am told that it’s not ready yet it’s still being washed. After 530 here comes my car.We do our walk around with their Shop Manager(?) and she get out and apologizes for taking so long.We walk to the passenger side as that’s where the damage was.As we are walking around the clear coat on the hood had was looked like sand specks all over it, the front bumper had dull spots in the paint, EVERY panel that they had "fixed" the clear coat looked like orange peel (not smooth)to top it off there was still polishing compound all over my rear wheel and tire. I asked the SM,"why?”Her response was It's not easy to get off and I was rushing to get it done.I told the service advisor that presentation of my vehicle was a No-Go. They (SA and SM) told me that the imperfections in the paint were rock chips and that’s just how it goes when you spray clear over those surfaces. The hood was awful. It looked as if someone had sprinkled sand in the clear coat as it was drying. As I open the front door ALL the lights were on in my dash.I turn to the SM and before I say anything she tells me that the battery had gone dead and they had to jump it off today and they don’t know why the lights are all on.I asked why they would present my car to me like this?Again I was told, It’s the end of the month and we are in a rush.I asked both the SA and SM if I had presented their car to them like this, would they be happy...I got a mumble. We talked with the manager Billy and he said that he was going to get it fixed come Mondaybut I have to pay them today(Friday).Monday, they "polish" the stuff out of my clear coat and make it much more presentable but the hood was bad.I took the car back to work and while driving the car there is awind noise coming from the passenger door. I looked over it closer and found the passenger headlamp that they replaced was fogged up, the left front fender had “burn” marks from polishing and a lot of what looks like white body filler all over the inside of the passenger door frame. I get Billy and show him what’s going on and he tells me that it will get fixed.Billy calls me later that day, when I get there he tells me that the tech forgot to put the seal on causing the noise, the filler was cleaned from the door andthe paint was repolished. The hood still looks like crap to this day. The latest is I was washing the car atmy house and I saw a rock hit on front bumper and the paint was peeling around it.The spot is about the size of a half dollar. I took the car over to them and Showed the SA the issue. She brings their painter up and asks his opinion on it and he says that the “other painter” didn’t prep it right and that the paint is really thin.So I say what is going to get done about this? The advisor tells me that they will have to repaint the bumper.I say Ok, the SA asks me when I can drop it to get it fixed (N/c to me since their own painter says it wasn’t painted right) and out comes Billy. He looks at it and tells me that if the rock had not of hit it, it would be fine. There is some truth to that but your painter coming out and saying in front of me that it was done incorrectly and that the paint should not have peeled after that hit, tells me that you are just looking out for your check and you could care less about work after it is sold. We go back and forth but he holds to the rock caused the peeling, No the rock made the impact, your crappy paint started peeling after that. E&S's warranty goes through a third party insurance company, not through the body shop. Now I am stuck with a peeling front bumper and they want 400 bucks to fix their mess up. So here we are with a car that was repaired 3 months ago and the paint work is already compromised.

Ellis & Salazar are the best! I am so pleased with the work they have done on my auto. Attention to every detail and take care of their

TL/DR: Ellis and Salazar didn’t prep my car for paint properly and now its peeling and they don’t give a crap.

I cannot sing their praises enough! My insurance company referred me to this shop when I wrecked my 2015 Honda CR-V just outside of Austin. They called me the very next business day to confirm that my car was dropped off and when they would have an estimate for me. Only a day or two later my estimator called me and said they could repair the vehicle (over $9000 in repairs) in only 2 weeks- and they delivered!! I couldn't believe it. I've heard horror stories from friends and family about their car taking 4+ weeks to repair and the quality being terrible so I was expecting the worst. I'm extremely happy to say that was not the case here. Great communication and the quality of the repairs are top notch. I would highly recommend this team!
